On boarding you and your business in 2025. Your new website.

    How it works.

We aim to make the process of building and managing your website as smooth and transparent as possible. Here’s a breakdown of how it all works—from domains and hosting, through to design, SEO, and marketing support.

    Website domain & hosting.

    • All domain names are subject to availability at the time of registration.

    • Domain and hosting fees are charged annually at a pre-agreed rate based on current provider costs.

    • These fees must be paid before any website construction begins.

    • We can set up custom email addresses (e.g. info@yourdomain.co.uk) or redirect them to your existing email accounts.

    • If your contract is terminated, your domain name will be released back to you, but all associated website data and hosting will be removed. Recovery or transfer of data is your responsibility.

    • Domain names are always registered under your business address for full transparency.

    • To ensure continuity and support, domains and hosting must be managed by us; third-party hosting is not supported.

    • It’s advisable to secure both the .co.uk and .com versions of your domain name where possible.

    • Hosting includes server space, email, and database support.

    • If you already own a domain, we can transfer it to our servers.

    Website design.

    • A 50% deposit is required before your website build can begin. The remaining balance is due upon completion and approval.

    • Any additional work outside the original scope or quote will be charged at a separately agreed rate.

    • Website updates are charged at a set hourly rate (typically £55 for the first hour). However, updates to your content management system (CMS) software are included at no extra charge.

    • All images, artwork, and visual assets created during the build remain under our copyright and are not transferable unless otherwise agreed.

    • We’ll review your website monthly and may recommend updates or improvements based on changes in technology or SEO practices. These will be quoted for as required.

    • Expansion of content or the addition of new pages will be priced separately.

    • Logo design is not included in standard website design packages.

    • You are encouraged to provide as much original content as possible for better results.

    • All design work is subject to ongoing refinement and improvement.

    • All websites will be designed to work across mobile and tablet devices as standard.

    Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

    • Your initial build will include basic SEO to help your website appear in relevant search results.

    • Advanced or ongoing SEO support is available for a monthly fee, tailored to your needs.

    • You will be asked to provide preferred keywords or search terms for your business.

    • We may require access to your social media accounts to assist with your SEO strategy.

    • We can also set up and manage your social media accounts for an agreed monthly fee.

    Marketing support.

We offer a full suite of marketing services to help launch and promote your brand:

    • Logo design and brand identity creation

    • Business stationery (letterheads, business cards, etc.)

    • Marketing collateral (flyers, leaflets, digital ads)

    • Through our trusted partners, we can also arrange:

      • Signage

      • Vehicle graphics

Need help at any stage? Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refresh your current setup, we’re here to guide you through it all—no jargon, no fuss.

  • Building your new website in 2025. A guide.

Building your new website in 2025. A guide.

Building your new website: What to expect from start to finish.

Building a new website can feel like a big project—but broken down into manageable stages, it’s a lot easier than you might think. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refreshing an existing site, this guide walks you through the process from the first decision to go live.

    1. Start with your domain name.

Before anything else, you’ll need a domain. Ideally, this should match your business name or come as close to it as possible. If it’s available, secure both the .co.uk and .com versions—owning both is a smart move to protect your brand, and it usually costs around £30 per year.

Most domain providers also include email services so that you can set up branded addresses like info@yourdomain.co.uk or sales@yourdomain.com. It’s a small touch that adds big credibility.

    2. Choose the right website platform.

Next up: the platform. These days, WordPress is the best all-rounder. It’s evolved massively over the years, offering powerful functionality, great SEO potential, and quick loading times right out of the box. Plus, it’s flexible enough to grow with your business.

Whether you’re looking for a stylish brochure site or a feature-rich e-commerce setup, WordPress gives you a solid foundation.

    3. Lay the foundations: hosting, database & blank canvas.

Once your domain and platform are sorted, it’s time to get things set up behind the scenes: your hosting, your database, and a fresh install of WordPress. At this point, your site is technically live—but it’s a blank canvas waiting for content.

This is where the real magic begins.

    4. Plan your content with SEO in mind.

Before adding content, it’s important to consider what search engines are looking for. In 2025, that means:

    • Fast loading speeds

    • Responsive design across all devices

    • Clear, logical navigation

    • High-quality written content

    • Optimised images and engaging media (including video)

Your content should be helpful, well-written, and answer the real questions your customers are asking. Don’t forget the basics either—include your contact information, location, and opening hours prominently.

    5. Sketch it out: Wireframes and Brand Story.

Great websites start with great planning.

A simple wireframe—think pen and paper—can help map out the structure of your pages and how users will navigate your site. This helps prevent confusion later in the design phase.

We also run a brand scripting session during the initial consultation. This includes your audience, goals, tone of voice, and how your website should ‘speak’ to your customers. It’s a deeper dive than it sounds… but that’s part of our secret sauce.

    6. Time to build.

With your plan and content in place, the design phase can begin. This is where your website comes to life:

    • Visually engaging design

    • Clear calls-to-action

    • Well-written, purposeful copy

    • A smooth, intuitive user experience

Once it’s all in place—it’s launch time!

    7. Now the real work begins: SEO & visibility.

Going live is just the start. Your website needs to be indexed by all major search engines—not just Google—and each one has its own quirks.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is an ongoing process, not a one-off task. It takes time to climb the rankings, so patience is essential. Resist the temptation of ‘quick fixes’ or shady “guaranteed ranking” offers. They usually involve black hat SEO tactics that can get your website penalised or even blacklisted.

Stick to ethical SEO, and your visibility will grow over time.

    8. Keep it fresh and evolving.

The truth is: websites are never really finished.

Technology evolves. Trends shift. Customer expectations change. A static website can quickly start to feel outdated, and search engines will take note.

That’s why ongoing maintenance, updates, and content tweaks are so important. Regularly refreshing your layout, adding blog content, or fine-tuning your navigation helps keep your site competitive.

    Final thoughts.

If you’re in the process of building your website—or you’ve hit a wall—We can help.

From domain setup and platform selection to content, SEO and post-launch strategy, I’m here to guide you through every stage and make sure your site delivers results.

  • 6 Ways to Improve Your SEO in 2025.

6 Ways to Improve Your SEO in 2025.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) has come a long way.

Not too long ago, ranking on Google was as simple as stuffing in a few keywords and hoping for the best. Fast forward to 2025, and SEO has become a sophisticated, constantly evolving game—with Google now prioritising user experience, authority, and trust above all else.

If you’re looking to boost your visibility and climb the search rankings, here are six up-to-date SEO tips that will actually make a difference.

    1. Prioritise Mobile Experience and Core Web Vitals.

Mobile-first indexing isn’t new—but now, it’s everything. In 2025, Google only uses the mobile version of your website for indexing and ranking.

Beyond responsive design, Google also measures your site’s Core Web Vitals, which focus on speed, interactivity, and stability.

    Action Points:

    • Ensure your site is fully responsive

    • Run tests using PageSpeed Insights

    • Optimise for LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), FID (First Input Delay), and CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift)

    2. Improve your page speed.

Fast websites get better rankings. It’s as simple as that.

If your site takes longer than 2 seconds to load, users are likely to bounce—and Google takes notice.

    Action Points:

    • Compress images and use formats like WebP

    • Remove unnecessary scripts and plugins

    • Consider a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to serve your site faster

    3. Build topical authority

Google no longer cares much about domain age. Instead, it wants to know if you’re a trusted voice in your field.

This is where topical authority comes in—covering a subject in depth with helpful, relevant content.

    Action Points:

    • Create content clusters: pillar pages and supporting articles

    • Build backlinks from reputable sites in your industry

    • Update old content to keep it relevant and accurate

    4. Structure your content clearly.

A well-organised website isn’t just helpful for your visitors—it makes it easier for search engines to understand and index your content.

    Action Points:

    • Use clear headings (H1, H2, H3) to structure your pages

    • Add breadcrumb navigation for better user flow

    • Implement schema markup to enhance your appearance in search results (such as FAQs, reviews, or events)

    5. Write with EEAT: experience, expertise, authority, trust.

In 2025, Google expects content to be written by real people with genuine expertise—not just SEO copywriters stuffing in keywords.

Show that you know your stuff and that people can trust you.

    Action Points:

    • Include author names and credentials

    • Share real experiences and case studies

    • Write naturally—use keywords wisely, not obsessively

    6. Share valuable content (consistently)

Blogging isn’t just good marketing—it’s essential SEO fuel. Regularly publishing insightful content signals to Google that you’re active, relevant, and worth ranking.

    Action Points:

    • Write blog posts, guides, how-tos, and industry insights

    • Repurpose content for social media and email marketing

    • Refresh existing blog posts with new stats, links, or updates

Quick wins to boost your SEO today.

    • Use natural, long-tail keyphrases

    • Add more service- and location-specific landing pages

    • Be clear—say exactly what you do and where you do it

    • Use descriptive, keyword-rich page titles

    • Keep your content fresh and updated

    • Don’t wait—SEO success comes from consistency over time
